AEGEE es una asociación europea que se esfuerza por lograr una Europa democrática, diversa y sin fronteras animando a  estudiantes y  jóvenes a tomar un papel activo en la sociedad. Durante el fin de semana de la conferencia se abordaran temas relativos a Europa y al euroescepticismo.

Europe On Track 6 closing conference

The Europe after the election. What’s next? conference is organized by Europe on Track and AEGEE-Alicante, in the framework of the MyEuropeMySay! project and is co-funded by Erasmus+.

The conference will serve as the closing event of the 6th edition of Europe on Track and will see around 100 youth, from all around Europe, gathering for 4 days in Alicante to reflect and discuss on what future is up for Europe in the immediate aftermath of the European Parliament elections and the challenge and opportunities of youth people in today’s changing word.

The aims of the conference are:

• to deepen the knowledge of the current and expected future situation and needs of young people in Europe,
• to learn and discuss about the different form of political participation youth can engage in,
• to produce knowledge about European and national politics, youth policies, and  the trends of youth participation,
• inspire and motivate participants for future actions,
• put into practice what has been learned. During a Project Hub the participants will have to come up with their own innovative idea on of how to keep young people engaged.

 

The conference will be held at the University of Alicante, located in San Vicente del Raspeig, Alicante, Spain.

 

What is Europe On track

Europe on Track is a project of AEGEE, run by young volunteers who aim to raise awareness, to create a space for discussion and to capture the opinions of youth in Europe on important social issues.

Thanks to Interrail and Erasmus+ our 6 ambassadors in 2 teams (one videographer, one photographer and one interviewer per team) travel by train across 20 cities in one month to deliver workshops, interview young people and organize events in cooperation with 200 volunteers from over 20 cities in Europe.

 

What is AEGEE

Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l’Europe(European Student’s forum) Is a students organization that strives for an integrated, diverse and borderless Europe. It is present in 200 cities, 40 countries and gaters 13 members from all over the continent. All events and activities are organized by students and young people for students and young people.
